What I’ve been up to

Hi Friends!

I wanted to hop on here to say hello and say that I hope you are all doing well considering this time of change and uncertainty in our world.

As for me personally, I have had to make some significant decisions in my art and life journey.  After about 10 years I have had to say goodbye to my beautiful studio space downtown Kelowna.  As I packed up my things these last several weeks, I stumbled upon so many beautiful memories from past shows, exhibits, notes from past clients, old paintings that have been tucked away, and so much more.  It has been a full and beautiful winding journey and I believe there is still so much to come.  I have also moved to a new home and am slowly creating a new art space where I can be free to create.  For the first time in years all of my belongings are under one roof.  There is much to sort through and my hope is to come through this feeling lighter and more appreciative of all the things I keep close to me.  Overall, I have decided to take some time to relax and let go of the things I can’t control.  It seems as though the timing is fitting.

This last year has been full of unexpected moments in my art life journey.  I am continually being stretched , finding new ways to reach a bigger audience ( this alone has been a huge, scary and at times intimidating experience) what a roller coaster ride.

More than anything though, I am very hopeful that through this transition I will continue to find my flow.  It comes in waves and I look forward to the next one whatever it may be!

Well, that is all I have for now.  Thank you for taking time out of your day to read this!

Sending love and light out to you and your families wherever you may be.

Take care and be well!
